Nicolò Napoli

Nicolò Napoli detiene il titolo di Maestro FIDE e di FIDE Trainer. Svolge professionalmente l'attività di Istruttore e allenatore di scacchi. Nel 2012 la Federazione Scacchistica Italiana lo premia come miglior Istruttore per l'attività svolta del 2011. Allenatore tra i più attivi in Italia, con diverse esperienze didattiche anche all'estero.

Nicolò Napoli has got the title of both FIDE Master and FIDE Trainer. He works as a chess instructor and trainer on a professional basis. In 2012 he was rewarded by the Italian Chess Federation as best chess instructor of the year 2011. He is one of the most active chess trainers in Italy with several didactic experiences both in Italy and abroad.

Massimo Pirrone

Inizia a giocare seriamente a scacchi nel 1972 raggiungendo in poco tempo la prima categoria nazionale. Per motivi di lavoro abbandona le competizioni a tavolino e si dedica agli scacchi per corrispondenza in cui raggiunge il livello di maestro (ELO ICCF 2241) vincendo il campionato italiano magistrale ASICG nel 2007. Dal 2008 al 2010 ha fatto parte della squadra Nazionale Italiana ASICG.

He started playing seriuosly chess in 1972 and quickly reached the chess Italian first category. He left the over-the-board competitions and started playing correspondence chess, where he achieved the ICCF Master title by winning the Italian championship in 2007. From 2008 to 2010 he joined the Italian National team of correspondence chess (ASICG).

Giuseppe Girgenti

Scacchista dal 1998, prima nazionale con ELO FIDE 1940, istruttore elementare FSI. Appassionato di analisi retrograda e di suicide, seguendo il motto "a scacchi vince chi fa il penultimo errore", è coerente nel fare sempre l'ultimo.

He has been a chess player since 1998 and got the Italian first category with FIDE ELO 1940. He is also a basic chess instructor. He is fond of retrogade analysis and selfmate problems. He agrees with the motto "in chess the winner is the one who makes the second to last error". He coherently makes the last one.

Sergio Rocchetti

Comincia a giocare seriamente a scacchi nel 2008 ed ottiene la seconda categoria nazionale (ELO FIDE 1724) nel 2012. E` il presidente di un club scacchistico in Terni.

Since 2008 he has been playing chess at a competitive level with the result of achieving the Italian second category with FIDE ELO 1724 in year 2012. He is currently the president of a chess club in Terni.

Ricercatore in fisica, coltiva l'hobby degli scacchi dal tempo dell'universita`. Si occupa di Fisica dei Sistemi Complessi applicata ai fenomeni sociali e linguistici con un occhio di riguardo alla Fisica computazionale ed analisi di grandi moli di dati.

He is a researcher in Physics and has been playing chess at amateur level since his university studies. He deals with the Physics of Complex Systems applied to Social and Linguistic phenomena. He is also an expert in Computational Physics and in the analysis of large datasets.
